The EC903 is the Telefunken special low noise and long life variety of the EC93 triode. the EC93 triode has specifications which look very much like the 6H30, 6H30DR and the 6H6 Russion tubes. only it is a single triode. To provide a very good alternative based on a NOS Telefunken tube, we have made a special adapter PCB combining 2 EC903's into a double triode with the same pinout as the 6H30 series. This new tube makes a great, much better sounding, replacement for the signal tubes in for example the Audio Research REF series pre-amplifiers and CD-players, but also for example in the AR SP17 pre-amplifier.
